Bridgeport Rescue Mission
This mission involves serving meals to clients who live and work at the Bridgeport Rescue Mission in Bridgeport CT where they receive drug and alcohol addiction treatment. NMUMC goes down the third Thursday of each month to serve a precooked meal to residents of the program as well as people coming in off the street. Meals are prepared by staff persons and served by the volunteers.

How can I be involved?
- Go to Bridgeport with mission leader the third Thursday of the month
- Serve as a driver/volunteer
- Serve meals to clients
- Clean-up of serving and dining areas
- Donate mens’ , womens’ and childrens’ clothing . A collection receptacle is in the downstairs hallway at NMUMC. This clothing is taken to the Mission by volunteers who serve on the third Thursday.
